CBS 58 We are sliding into the fall season. Cooler, crisp days are nearing along with longer nights. In fact, did you know that September loses more daylight than any other month? Southeast Wisconsin is losing daylight at a clip of almost three minutes per day.
Here's a look at today's sunrise and sunset: This is how the rest of the month unfolds on dwindling light in the evening. As we near the Fall Equinox, that's about when we hit the equal times of daylight and night time. This year that astronomical event happens on September 22nd, officially at 7:05pm. The figures on the first day of Autumn bring a sunrise of 6:39am and sunset of 6:48pm. Technically that's not even time for us here locally with daylight at 12 hours 9 minutes. The actual date of exactly 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark occurs on the 25th of the month. Happy Fall Y'All!
