Milwaukee County Sheriff\'s Office

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An 18-year-old man is now charged in connection to the shooting death of two teenagers on Christmas Day near 37th and Scott.

Quintarez Morris is charged with harboring or aiding a felon.

According to a criminal complaint, Morris was driving the car that another suspect fired shots from, killing a 15-year-old and 18-year-old.

Prosecutors say police recovered video that shows the shooting from cameras in the area. They say the victims were sitting in a Kia on the side of the street, when a Malibu traveled past with a man hanging out of the front passenger window. The complaint says the suspect fired the weapon at the Kia, and the Kia rolled forward, hitting a parked car.

Later that day, a Malibu was discovered burnt in Dineen Park. Investigators discovered Morris had been in the process of buying the vehicle and was driving it at the time of the shooting.

The complaint goes on to say another individual drove the Malibu to Dineen Park following the shooting, while Morris followed in a Jeep. It alleges that individual, along with the shooter, set the Malibu on fire before Morris drove the three of them away from the park in the Jeep.

The victims were identified as 15-year-old Exziel Rivera and 18-year-old Nayah Vasquez.

Court records show cash bond was set at $7,500.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 10.
