Forty-one-year-old Miguel Cruz was found guilty in a Racine County court Friday, Feb. 19.
He shot 39-year-old Juanita Zdroik back in February of 2000.
Cruz was on the run until 2017. He will be sentenced in April.
The conviction carries a minimum sentence of life in prison.
