Man Dies After Falling from Lift at Pius High School
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner said a maintenance worker died after falling from lift at Pius High School on Monday.
Pius High School is located at 135 N 76th Street.
Mansour Ahangar, 65-year-old, fell from a scissor lift approximately 30 feet from the wood gym floor. He was repairing a heavy curtain in the gym that divides the gym into smaller sections when he fell to the ground.
An X-ray, CT Scan and a visual exam revealed massive pelvic injuries, a lumbar and thoracic fracture, a small right apical pneumothorax, a retropertoneal hematoma, and a right arm puncture wound.
He was taken to Froedtert Emergency Room. He was pronounced dead at 2:46 AM on Tuesday.

The Pius XI Catholic High School family is mourning the unexpected loss of a member of our maintenance crew, who had been working in the school’s Field House yesterday afternoon. A lift accident occurred, 911 was called immediately, and the staff member was quickly transported to the hospital for care. Due to complications, the individual unexpectedly passed away late last night.
Pius XI Catholic High School is committed to the care of each member of its community, and will be cooperating with those actively involved in understanding yesterday's accident. In respect of the privacy of the individual and family members involved, we will not be releasing the name of the individual.
Everyone at Pius XI Catholic School has a heavy heart today as we mourn this unexpected passing. We are asking everyone for prayers and special intentions to the family of the individual, as well as to the Pius XI Catholic High School community and family.
