Man Dies Walking to Work in Probable Heat-Related Death

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office is currently investigating the death of a 54-year-old man who was transported to the VA Hospital on July, 25 after collapsing in the parking lot from probable heat exhaustion.

The man was walking to work at Miller Park.

The man's temperature when he arrived at the hospital was 109°. The man was pronounced dead at the VA Hospital on July, 27.

More information is expected to be released on Thursday.

This is the second heat-related death reported to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
