Man Flown to Milwaukee by Flight for Life after Lake Geneva Motorcycle Crash
A Town of Geneva man was ejected from his motorcycle in a crash and was flown by Flight for Life to Milwaukee.
Lake Geneva Police Chief Michael S. Rasmussen reported on Sunday at approximately 8:36pm, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Williams Street for a reported motorcycle crash.
Upon arrival, officers observed one motorcycle that was involved in the crash. The operator of that motorcycle sustained severe injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
The initial investigation indicates that the driver was operating the motorcycle northbound in the 1200 block of Williams Street when he lost control of the motorcycle striking a curb, ejecting him from the motorcycle. Police believe speed and alcohol are contributing factors to the crash.
The City of Lake Geneva Police Department was assisted by the Lake Geneva Fire and EMS Departments, Town of Geneva Police Department, Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and Flight for Life.
