Man killed after crashing Harley Davidson Trike into car in Town of Genesee

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 77-year-old St. Francis man is dead after crashing his Harley Davidson Trike into a car.

It happened around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday in the Town of Genesee.

Authorities were called to the area of Hwy 83 at Field Crossing Drive for a report of a crash.

Upon arrival, officers learned that a southbound Toyota Prius was slowing to yield while entering a roundabout. A Harley Davidson trike was following behind the Toyota Prius when the trike operator failed to slow and crashed into the rear of the Toyota Prius.

The operator and sole occupant of the trike was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Prius, a 67-year-old Bristol woman, was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
