Man tied to arrest of Judge Dugan sentenced for misdemeanor battery charge

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The man Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan is accused of helping avoid arrest was in court Monday, Oct. 13. 

Thirty-year-old Eduardo Flores-Ruiz was charged in Milwaukee County with three misdemeanor counts of battery stemming from a domestic violence arrest back in March. 

He allegedly hit one victim with a closed fist 30 times. He also allegedly hit the victim's girlfriend and knocked her to the ground when she tried to intervene. 

In court Monday, Flores-Ruiz pleaded no contest to one of the battery charges and the other two were dismissed. 

He was sentenced to 195 days in prison, with a restitution hearing scheduled for Nov. 7.
