Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: No Tail
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --A month out before the regular season, the Marquette men's basketball team held its Blue and Gold Scrimmage at the Al McGuire Center.
Split into two teams, the team faced off in four 7-minute quarters.
Gold beat Blue 57-51.
Brookfield native David Joplin led the Blue team with 20 points. Kam Jones finished with a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists. Freshman Joshua Clark, who is expected to be redshirted, led the Gold team with 17 points.
Sean Jones, Tre Norman, and Damarius Owens all sat out of the scrimmage nursing injuries.
The Golden Eagles open the season at home with Stony Brook on Nov. 4th at 7:30 p.m.
