MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Monday, Aug. 26, marked the first day of classes for the new semester at Marquette University, celebrated with a free breakfast for hundreds of students.
The event aimed to welcome students back to campus, with both the men's and women's basketball coaches and Acting President Kimo Ah Yun in attendance.
"We really want to be able to welcome students back. Our mission is to help transform the lives of our students, and this is a good way to kick it off with a little nourishment as they head to their classes," said Dr. Ah Yun.
Approximately 400 breakfasts were served Monday morning.
