Marquette women's volleyball program hosting youth clinic 🏐

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marquette University women's volleyball program has opened registration for a youth clinic, set to run before the Blue & Gold Scrimmage on Sunday, Aug. 20.

The scrimmage is an intra-squad competition slated to take place at the Al McGuire Center.

The clinic is geared toward students from third to sixth grade for the 2023-24 school year. Beginning at 11 a.m., it will run until 12:30 p.m., followed by a pizza party.

A $10 fee to participate includes a t-shirt and post-clinic pizza. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for registration.

The Blue & Gold Scrimmage will take place at 1 p.m. Attendees will witness the 2023 Golden Eagles team in action prior to their face-off against 2022 NCAA semifinalist Pittsburgh on Sept. 8.

Last season, the Golden Eagles won the Big East Conference regular season crown and advanced to the NCAA regional semifinals.
