Woman found dead on I-43 off-ramp in Milwaukee County identified

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The woman found dead on Friday, Feb. 23 was identified as 32-year-old Jennifer Gail Dimatteo. Her identity was released on Monday, Feb. 26 by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
Responders believe she was struck by a vehicle.
They noted in their investigative report that they found vehicle debris, including a side view mirror, around 10 feet from her body. They also found a small piece of blue plastic attached to the hood of her sweatshirt and another on the back of her sweatshirt.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A body was found on an I-43 off-ramp in Milwaukee County on Friday morning. Feb. 23.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says at approximately 8:30 a.m., a commuter reported they had seen a body on the Lapham off-ramp on southbound I-43.
Responding deputy sheriffs, confirmed a pulseless, and non-breathing person at that location.
The scene has been secured by investigators.
The freeway has not been closed, just the southbound Lapham off-ramp.
The Milwaukee fire department was also dispatched to the scene.
