MUSKEGO, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fire crews were at the scene of a large house fire near Leonards Court and Kristin Drive in Muskego Monday night, Oct. 5.
We're told no people were home at the time of the fire, however the family lost two pets -- a Boston terrier and pet cat.
A woman who said she's the grandmother of the children who live there say she was told by fire crews that about half the home was destroyed.
Crews had the fire out before 9 pm but continued to spray hotspots from the roof.
The Tess Corners Fire Department is leading the investigation. They are working to determine how the fire started.
This is a developing story. Stick with CBS 58 for updates on-air and online.
