MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person is dead after a car slammed into a tree earlier Saturday, Jan. 3, on the border of Milwaukee and Wauwatosa near 60th and Vilet.
Wauwatosa police determined that a Kia Sorento speeding west along W. Vilet ran a red light at N. 60th striking another vehicle then collided with a tree.
The driver of the Kia, a 71-year-old man from Milwaukee, was pronounced dead the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
