Brewers preview homestand, new fan plaza ahead of Cubs series
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A group of aspiring medical professionals found out what's next for their career Friday.
More than 200 graduating students from the Medical College of Wisconsin found out where they will be heading for their residency training.
The students say it took years of hard work both in and out of the classroom to get to this moment.
While some may be going across the country to continue their career, others are staying close to home to help out those right here in our area.
"I am bursting at the seams with happiness right now and I'm just so excited to be here," said student doctor Nick Parks. "I love MCW as a Medical School and I'm excited to stay here for my training as a resident. I think it's going to be amazing, I'm so glad to be here and this is, it's hard to express how awesome it is really."
According to the National Resident Matching Program, over 40,000 students across the country received their residency training assignment today.
