Cudahy woman dead after car hits tree near Nicholson and Layton

CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Cudahy Police Dept. and Fire Dept. both responded to a call of a single car crash near Nicholson and Layton on Thursday, Aug. 1.

The crash took place a little after 7 p.m.

The car, occupied by a 68-year-old Cudahy woman, reportedly struck a tree. The woman was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital.

The accident is under investigation by CPD and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead after a crash in Cudahy on Thursday, Aug. 1, according to the medical examiner.

It happened near Nicholson and Layton.

According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office, the victim was an adult female who died at the hospital.
