Woman, man identified after Franklin police found them dead in home

UPDATE on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 4:07 p.m.: 

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The two people found dead inside a Franklin home have been identified. 

According to the medical examiner, the 66-year-old woman was identified as Ann Harrison. The medical examiner lists her cause of death as homicide. 

The 65-year-old man was identified as Ricky Harrison. The medical examiner lists his cause of death as suicide. 


FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after police discovered two people dead inside a Franklin home Tuesday night, Feb. 25. 

Officials arrived at the home on W. Drake Lane around 5:20 p.m. for a report of an individual seen on the ground. 

Franklin police say their officers forcibly entered the residence and found a 66-year-old woman and 65-year-old man dead due to gunshot wounds. 

They say there is no apparent threat to the public.
