'Metamorphosis' exhibit to showcase nature's transformations at Mitchell Park Domes
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's Mitchell Park Domes will unveil its latest exhibit, "Metamorphosis: The Lives of Frogs and Butterflies," on Saturday, April 8 at 9 a.m.
The exhibit, set to run until May 29, showcases the transformation of winter into spring, with a rich display of colorful flowers and the life cycles of frogs and butterflies.
Visitors will be able to witness the evolution from the "Chilly White" Easter lilies to the "Beauty of Spring" tulips, while the show dome transforms into a vibrant scene of hyacinths, pansies and hydrangeas.
The Domes are open Mondays, Wednesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the last admission one hour before closing. The venue is closed on Tuesdays.
Admission rates range from $6 to $9, with discounts for residents and seniors.
