MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Menomonee Falls Fire Department says it has enough resources to protect the village during a fire.
The president of the firefighter’s union in Menomonee Falls said Wednesday that for part of the day there were no working fire engines or ladders. The department's equipment was out of service for repairs.
The Fire Chief says there are procedures in place so firefighters can properly respond to calls, including getting assistance from other fire departments.
The fire department says some equipment repairs are already finished and more will be done Friday.
