(MILWAUKEE) - Every Friday morning during the academic year the smell of fresh-baked muffins or scones wafts through the halls of the Maryland Avenue Montessori School.
But Blue Mammoth is not your typical coffee shop. Behind the counter and in the kitchen you’ll find some rather young employees. Operated entirely by middle school students the shop doubles as both a great breakfast spot and a real-world learning experience.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Michael Schlesinger takes us inside a collaborative community effort that brings all the ingredients together to create the perfect taste of the real world.
