Mild temps returning after a couple cooler days

It was another frosty and chilly morning in southeast Wisconsin with temps falling into the 30s and a couple upper 20s!

The southerly wind has returned, and it has warmed temperatures into the low 60s early this afternoon, which is where we should be temperature-wise this time of year.

The southwest wind won't be leaving anytime soon, which means temps will continue to warm as we head into the weekend. High top out either side of 70° on Friday with low to mid 70s Saturday and mid to upper 70s Sunday. Sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected with 20 mph wind gusts each afternoon.

Temps will peak either side of 80 on Monday before a low pressure system brings rain back to the area on Tuesday and seasonal temps in the upper 50s to low 60s for the middle of next week.

Despite the few days of near normal temps, warmer than average temps are favored to return for the end of the month.
