MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some giant tanks arrived at the Milwaukee Brewing Company Friday, May 7.
The seven new tanks come from a company in Marshfield and will be used to increase production of the brewery's craft beers by almost 70-percent.
That works out to about 24-million pints of beer per year.
The president of the brewery says the beer business is changing and you need to not only grow, but innovate.
"But now we're making beer, we're making innovative hard seltzers, we're also making mixed cocktails. So we're doing that as the consumer changes, we need to be a nimble business and move with those trends," said President and CEO Dave Hock.
Milwaukee Brewing Company occupies part of the old Pabst Brewery.
Adding these tanks will not only increase beer production, but it will allow the company to add jobs.
