MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After the last game of the Milwaukee Bucks 2025-2026 season Sunday night, an ESPN report announced that the Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Doc Rivers was departing his role.
At Major Gloosby's, Bucks fans were shocked to learn Doc Rivers is out as head coach.
Some fans have been disappointed with the Bucks performance under Doc Rivers and recent tension with Giannis Antetokounmpo's future has elevated those concerns.
However, Rivers has had a lengthy career with the NBA as both a player and coach, leaving other fans wondering who could be next to come to Milwaukee.
“Not a great season, some injuries right throughout the season, and Doc Rivers is iconic, maybe it's ready for a new path?” said Bucks fan Marissa Arrington.
Fans said that while Rivers has been a recent target of blame for the Bucks' performance, others feel the whole organization needs a reset.
Fans will be looking to the next season for potential improvements after what some feel was a disappointing year.
