Election night anxiety has voters turning off the screens
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Board meeting opened with a program kicking off Black History Month on Thursday, Feb. 1.
It included the singing of the Black National Anthem. Keeping in this year's theme of "African Americans and the Arts" the program included recognition for 16 people who made contribution to the arts, including muralist Tia Richardson.
"I really do hope that my work in Milwaukee and the county and beyond can help bring people together. I do believe we are all connected, and we are all divine by birthright," said Richardson.
Tia Richardson's murals appear in several places around Milwaukee, and she often works with community groups, non-profits, and schools.
