Milwaukee County jail occupant died at hospital

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An occupant of the Milwaukee County jail died on Sunday, Aug. 13.
According to police, the 58-year-old man was diagnosed with and was receiving treatment for several chronic illnesses.
The occupant has been in custody since Aug. 8. He was hospitalized around 11:50 on Saturday, Aug. 12. after experiencing heightened symptoms.
Authorities say that there is an active law enforcements investigation underway.
