MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's now official -- Milwaukee County will bring back the Independence Day drone show at the lakefront this year.
Friday, July 3, the drones will fly after dark as they did last year. But if you were there in 2025, you may notice something different this year.
"This year, we are taking the show even further with pyrotechnic drone technology," Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley said. "Combining synchronizing light displays with safe, controlled spark effects."
The show will be at McKinley Beach at 9:15 p.m. and lasting about 45 minutes.
