Milwaukee couple wins Miller High Life's 'Wedding at Your Doorstep' contest

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The "Champagne of Beers" gave one Milwaukee couple a wedding to remember. 

Back in April, Miller High Life offered three engaged couples whose weddings were impacted by COVID-19 a chance to win a "Wedding at Your Doorstep." 

Winning couples would receive an officiant, photographer, and $10,000 each to go towards a honeymoon fund, cancelled wedding costs, and of course, beer.

Winning couple Adam Benjamin and Mary-Kate Weiss, local Milwaukeeans, were one of the winning couples! As it turns out on their first date in 2016, they discovered both their grandfathers were employed at Miller Brewery. 

It was fate! 

High Life helped them tie the knot on June 6, 2020 in the presence of their closest family members and friends with social distancing in mind. Some guests attended via Zoom, including Adam’s grandfather, the former brewery employee. 

Topping it off, the couple exchanged their vows on the steps of the Miller Inn.

The two other couples who won the "Wedding at Your Doorstep" contest are from Richmond, Virginia, and Long Island, New York.
