Milwaukee crash leaves 1 seriously injured, 2 arrested after police chase and extrication

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a crash that occurred after a car fled from a traffic stop near 60th and Hampton on Monday, Feb. 10.
Officers reported the driver lost control, hit a pole and veered toward a creek.
The crash reportedly happened at around 4:38 p.m. Police said the driver, a 25-year-old man, attempted to flee on foot but was arrested. He was not injured.
A 19-year-old passenger was extricated from the car and taken to a hospital with serious injuries. He was also arrested.
According to MPD, the vehicle is believed to be stolen and officers also found suspected illegal narcotics.
Criminal charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
