Milwaukee dive team rescues man after fall from bridge into river

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee firefighters rescued a man early Saturday morning after he fell from a bridge into a river.

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, first responders were called shortly after 4:15 a.m. to the area of West Seeboth Street for a report of a person in the water.

Crews began searching the river, and a dive team was able to locate and secure the man.

The victim was pulled from the water with a pulse and breathing but was semi-conscious, according to the fire department.

He was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
