MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Aurora Health Care and the Milwaukee Brewers gave a Milwaukee father a VIP "Brew Crew Call-Up" experience Saturday, Aug. 29 to help honor his recovery from acute heart failure.

Justin Dunleavy, 41, collapsed while carrying laundry earlier this year after weeks of worsening symptoms, according to a press release from Aurora. Doctors at Aurora St. Luke's Tendick Center for Advanced Heart Failure Therapies treated him after his condition deteriorated to the point his husband was told to prepare for end-of-life decisions.

"I feel great now. I've had to make significant life changes, but I'm back to exercising, doing chores and even traveling for work," Dunleavy said.

He received field access, batting practice viewing and recognition before the first pitch at American Family Field, along with a personalized jersey and tickets for his family.
