MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Home sales in the Milwaukee area saw a decline in August, according to the latest report from the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors.
Sarah Cole, the 2024 chairperson of the association, joined us on Monday, Sept. 16 to offer more details.
Cole explained that recent national and local changes implemented last month are affecting buyers and sellers. Interest rates are coming down, which could influence potential buyers who have been hesitant to enter the market.
For those ready to purchase a home, Cole outlined what they should know about searching in today's market and the steps to prepare for buying a home.
