MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - The “Hoancoming” celebration took over the skies and water near the Hoan Bridge on Thursday night, Sept. 18.
Last year, the celebration was designed to light up the east side of the bridge, but the west side was the star of the show this year.
A drone show took place above the bridge along with a light show being performed along the bridge.
Cateline Montijo was out on the water with her family for the show and is sad to see summer go, but is living in the moment and holding on to the good weather.
“I’m sad but as long as I can be out on the boat enjoying myself with family, I can just say I’m still enjoying as much summertime as I can,” Montijo said.
