MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee leaders marked 100 years of Black History Month with a Power Hour event aimed at supporting Black professionals on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
The event focused on appreciating and acknowledging the history and impact of Black America and Black Milwaukee. Leaders provided resources and support for people to stay in Milwaukee.
"It's a great way of community just to have network and fellowship in city hall rotunda for positivity and the spirit of Black History Month," Alderman Mark Chambers Jr. said.
