MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened near 36th and Burnham streets on Saturday, April 17 at around 8:00 p.m.

Following the incident, police say a 39-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and MPD continues to seek suspects.
