MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett has kicked off his fifth annual '100 Miles in 100 Days' challenge.
The initiative encourages people to add physical activity to their daily routines and to explore Milwaukee's neighborhoods.
Monday's walk took the Mayor near the Sculpture Milwaukee exhibit.
Those who participated received a free ice cream cone and tickets to Summerfest.
To register for the challenge, click here. You'll have a chance to compete with other residents and win prizes.
Citizens are also encouraged to submit walk photos via social media using #Walk100 for a chance to be featured on the Mayor's social media page.
