Milwaukee Mile 250 Weekend: IndyCar series race times announced

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- IndyCar, the Milwaukee Mile, and Wisconsin State Fair Park announced Tuesday, Feb. 20, broadcast times and networks for the first-ever doubleheader at the facility.

The Labor Day weekend celebration is set for Friday, Aug. 30 through Sunday, Sept. 1.

According to a news release, IndyCar will etch another first into the record books in 2024 when the series returns to the iconic one-mile oval. With on-track action beginning on Friday, the first race of the Milwaukee Mile 250 Weekend doubleheader will be seen at 5:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, Aug. 31. Sunday’s race will be broadcast live on USA Network beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT. Both races will be streamed live on Peacock and heard on IndyCar Radio Network on SiriusXM Radio Channel 218.

The Milwaukee Mile 250 Weekend will feature live music, activations, and hospitality.

Gates open at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, and 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1. Closing times and entertainment schedules to come.
