MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After the Cream City Challenge, the Milwaukee Panthers get another chance to showcase their talents this coming weekend in the "MKE Tipoff."

The three-game slate will all take place inside Fiserv Forum.

"First time on an NBA court, most definitely," said Jamichael Stillwell, Milwaukee junior forward.

"To play where the Bucks play, that's special for them," said Bart Lundy, Milwaukee Panthers head coach.

UWM hosts Akron at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, for the first of three games of the day. Also, in action at Fiserv Forum will be Northwestern against Georgia Tech and Loyola Chicago facing San Francisco. The 7-4 (2-0) Panthers are coming off a big win against Green Bay on Wednesday. The Zips are on a five-game winning streak and second in the nation in 3-point field goals attempted and made.

"Really good team, they make 13 threes a game. Doesn't take a genius, you got to take away the three. They also get a lot of rebounds. Two really good rebounding teams," said Lundy. "Whoever can win the glass, get out in transition a little bit and can we prevent the three."

On top of the competition, the Panthers hope to have as packed of a house as possible for Sunday's tip. A ticket gets you in for all three games.

"Big opportunity for us, we're working hard. Been working hard. Feel like we ready to play," said Stillwell, who set the program rebound record for a single game in the win over Green Bay. "It's going to open a lot more eyes in the city. Get more fans come in, especially if we win. See us winning, see us achieving."

"We want to continue to grow our fan base, we got a good product. They're fun to watch, really playing hard. Really playing hard, playing together. So come on out and see the Panthers," said Lundy.

It's big weekend for basketball in the city of Milwaukee. While the men's team will be inside Fiserv Forum, the Panthers women's team will be at the Al McGuire Center to renew their rivalry with Marquette. It's the 30th matchup between the two sides as Division 1 opponents and the first after missing a year last season. That game tips at 2 p.m.
