Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting near 76th and Villard

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A double shooting early Monday, Dec. 15 left one person dead and another injured, according to Milwaukee police.

Police responded just after midnight near 76th and Villard. A 33-year-old sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A 48-year-old was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.

Milwaukee police have yet to make arrests. Anyone with information is asked to contact MPD at (414) 935-7360 or Crime Stoppers at (414) 224-Tips to remain anonymous. The P3 Tips online service is also anonymous.
