MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say the body of a person reported missing on Dec. 10 was found near Burleigh and Fond du Lac Avenue Thursday morning, Dec. 14. 

The 49-year-old had gone missing from the area near 32nd and Auer Avenue, according to police. 

An investigation is ongoing, and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the manner of death.

The identification of the victim is pending.
