MPD: 25-year-old woman found dead in car that was set on fire near 16th and Cleveland

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating the death of a woman found in a burned vehicle Tuesday, Sept. 21 near 16th and Cleveland.

Police say a 25-year-old Milwaukee woman, identified by family as Senora Taylor, was found dead inside a vehicle that was set on fire.

Police say the Milwaukee Fire Department responded around 8:10 p.m., extinguished the fire and found an unconscious victim inside the vehicle. 

The cause of the woman's death has been ruled a homicide. 

The cause of the fire, as well as the events leading up to it, are under investigation.
