Milwaukee Police: Man shot, seriously injured near 55th and Hampton

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that left a man injured.
Police were called to the area of 55th and Hampton around 12:35 p.m. on Monday for a report of a shooting.
The man was shot during circumstances that are still under investigation, police say.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Police continue to search for a suspect and a motive.
