Milwaukee police recover over 1,700 grams of fentanyl near 29th and Bobolink

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) District 4 is working hard to keep the community safe. 

According to MPD, members of District 4 executed a search warrant near 29th and Bobolink on Monday, June 21 regarding an ongoing illegal firearm and narcotics investigation.

Officials say officers recovered over 1,700 grams of fentanyl from the home. MPD says the large recovery potentially saved the lives of thousands of people.
