Milwaukee police seek driver involved in collision near Kinnickinnic River Parkway

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A car ended up in the Kinnickinnic River near Jackson Park Tuesday, and police are looking for one of the people involved.

Milwaukee police say it happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 17. 

They say the driver of a red SUV disregarded a traffic signal and was hit by another car on W. Kinnickinnic River Parkway and W. Forest Home Avenue. The driver of the striking vehicle fled the area. 

The driver who ended up in the river was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
