MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee institution is marking a pretty big milestone today, Oct. 11.
During their annual Harvest Festival, the Milwaukee Public Market celebrated 20 years of hometown history!
The fall favorite had a little bit of everything - live music, free beer and cider tastings, along with some activities for the whole family.
And while the event happens every year, this time around it means a little more, as the market celebrates two decades of community support.
"Milwaukee Public Market opened 20 years ago for the community," said Paige Hammond, marketing and communications manager. "We wanted to support entrepreneurs and just drive traffic into this neighborhood and it's so wonderful to see the traffic in this neighborhood right now. To see so many people supporting local entrepreneurs."
While the Harvest Fest has wrapped up for the night, they'll be back next year as the market looks ahead to another 20 years.
