We Energies works to restore power after another round of storms
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21 will mark the 20th annual Downtown Employee Appreciation Week from Monday, Aug. 18, through Friday, Aug. 22 with free lunches, games, giveaways and other events across downtown.
Isabel Ullrich, Milwaukee Downtown’s marketing, events and social media director, joined us on Tuesday, Aug. 12 with a preview.
Daily lunchtime activities will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at different parks, featuring live music, food and the Office Challenge Games.
Special events include a Service Industry Night on Aug. 18 at Riverwalk Commons and a Yappy Hour on Aug. 20 at the new MKE Dog Park, which opens earlier that day.
Morning coffee giveaways will be held at various locations, along with fitness sessions, meditation, kayaking, happy hours and other activities. A closing ceremony is planned Aug. 22 at Zeidler Union Square.
