WisconsinEye back up and running through February
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee’s event calendar is packed with fun and plenty of cultural programming throughout August.
Ian Thompson from Visit Milwaukee joined us on Wednesday, Aug. 6 to highlight several events, including the city’s 14th annual Bronzeville Week, which continues through Saturday, Aug. 9. The weeklong celebration honors the Bronzeville district’s Black cultural history with community events, music, food and art.
ArtBlaze returns Thursday, Aug. 7 at McKinley Beach, featuring live music, vendors, interactive art and illuminated sculptures from 4 to 9:30 p.m. The next event is set for Aug. 21.
On Friday, Aug. 8, the Milwaukee Milkmen host Golf Night at Franklin Field with themed giveaways and fireworks after the game.
Milwaukee Irish Fest runs Thursday, Aug. 14 through Sunday, Aug. 17 at Henry Maier Festival Park with 18 stages of Irish and Celtic music.
