Milwaukee to reduce capacity limits as new COVID-19 cases rise

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee's Health Department is set to roll back on the city's reopening following a rise in new COVID-19 infections.

They plan to change the public health order this week from Phase 6 to Phase 5. This will reduce capacity limits.

The Milwaukee Health Department says many locations with approved safety plans will not be affected by the new public health order.

In Wisconsin, there were 569 positive tests reported Sunday, April 11.

That is the lowest number since April 5, but the seven-day average remains at one of its highest numbers since mid-February.

One more death was reported Sunday, which is also the lowest since April 5.
