MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some of MIlwaukee's best bartenders squared off for the title of 'Milwaukee's No. 1 Most Creative Mixologist.'
They took part in the '86'D Battle of the Bartenders.'
Each participant was given a full bar and mystery ingredients like cotton candy and hibiscus to make the best drink.
One person was eliminated every round until one bartender was left standing.
"A lot of the group that's here, they really know each other well, they collaborate with each other, they like seeing each other so it's a real sense of community," said Pat McQuillan with Central Standard Distilleries.
Paul Oemig took home the title.
Prizes included $1,000 in cash and a full suite of Bar Fly bar tools from Boelter SuperStore.
This was the first time that the event had been held in Milwaukee.
It was put on by Central Standard Craft Distillery.
