MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward recently unveiled a newly redesigned website which offers an enhanced online experience, while also anticipating a packed October of events.
According to Jordan Dechambre, Marketing Director for the Historic Third Ward Organization, who joined us on Monday, Oct. 9, the new website showcases an interactive map, themed itineraries and business highlights. The "Third Ward Lore" page is dedicated to sharing the stories of the neighborhood's history.
In addition, art fans can look forward to Gallery Night MKE on Friday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21. This two-day event provides a platform for visitors to explore original art across Milwaukee's dynamic neighborhoods.
Another highlight in the area calendar is the Milwaukee Public Market's Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., which celebrates autumn with a variety of activities.
The Third Ward Beer Garden is also set to wrap up its season on Sunday, Oct. 15.
Dechambre also touched upon the local theaters, such as Skylight Music Theatre, Next Act Theater and Milwaukee Chamber Theater that are launching their new seasons, with details available on their respective websites.
