Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward voted #4 Best Arts District in the country by USA Today

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward was voted #4 Best Arts District in the United States in the 2022 USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.

According to USA Today, this award recognizes inspiring arts districts that "culturally enrich their cities and those who visit."

Milwaukee fell short of the top three, placing after the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District (first place), University Circle in Cleveland (second place) and the Dallas Arts District (third place).

Following the Historic Third Ward are:

  • Art District on Santa Fe in Denver
  • Wabash Arts Corridor in Chicago
  • Station North Arts District in Baltimore
  • Roosevelt Row Arts District in Phoenix
  • Santa Fe Railyard Arts District
  • Richmond Arts District
